Mother Earth, we salute you!  Since 1970, over one billion people have celebrated our environment every April, and there’s a great family event coming up, with  the public invited to attend – the annual Earth Day celebration at Vermilionville Sunday April 14th from 11-4pm. Lots of activities for the whole family, including boat tours, kid’s crafts, a scavenger hunt, and entertainment by T’Monde and Lee Benoit & Bayou Stompers.

For details on Earth Day, or any of the other great programs, check out the Vermilionville website or Facebook page, and make plans to enjoy our beautiful outdoors at this annual worldwide celebration!
