Children’s & Queen’s Parades in Lafayette Roll Tonight at 6pm

Due to the inclement weather on Saturday, the Children's Parade in Lafayette was postponed. Good news in case you have not heard, it's been rescheduled!

Tonight at 6pm, the Children's Parade will begin at the courthouse in downtown Lafayette.

Now you may be wondering, "what about the Queen's Parade?" Worry not, that parade will roll at the same time. It will follow its normal route which begins at Pontiac Point. So, basically, you will be enjoying two parades almost back-to-back tonight!

And don't forget about the fun at Cajun Field for Le Festival de Mardi Gras à Lafayette. The My Rouses Soundstage will be rockin' with music by Louisiana Kids, Dikki Du, Side Show, Lafayette's Bayou Boys and Wayne Toups & Zydecajun. The Louisiana Lottery Middway is open from noon-midnight with "Family Day" going on where you can pay $25 and ride all you want from 12pm-6pm.
