City of Lafayette Offering Free Bus Rides Beginning Black Friday
The City of Lafayette will be offering free bus rides for the upcoming holiday shopping weekend.
Lafayette Transit System says its "No Pay Bus Day" on November 25 & 26 is in recognition of Black Friday and Small Business Saturday.
Lafayette Mayor-President Joel Robideaux says the promotion applies to all three transit services -- daytime, night owl and para-transit.
The hope of the promotion is to help alleviate road congestion over the busy shopping weekend. And Robideaux says it's also a good way to attract new riders.
Give it a try!
