According to trusty CMT.com, a few great events happened in the careers of artists I am quite sure you are familiar with. They are returning to our country music history class yet again!

When you are as legendary as George Strait and The Judds, it's hard to look back in country music history without them being a part of it.

On this day in 1985, The Judds received their first gold album for 'Why Not Me'.

And in 1987, George Strait hits #1 on Billboard country chart for his great tune 'Ocean Front Property.'
