‘Courtesy’s Got Your CMA Getaway’ Official Rules

Official Rules: Courtesy CMA Getaway August 17- September 28, 2015

This is a contest administered via the KMDL-FM 973theDawg.com.(Station Website). The contest winner will be chosen by their video entry receiving the majority of votes by the appointed deadline.  The odds of winning The Grand Prize will be determined by the number of eligible entries received. There will only be one Grand Prize given away during this contest. Winner must meet all eligibility requirements. There are no substitutions allowed.  The Grand Prize will be chosen on or about Monday, September 28, 2015.

The Grand Prize:  A trip for the winner and a guest to see the Country Music Awards in Nashville, TN. on November 4, 2015.  The prize package includes:  airfare for two from Lafayette to Nashville, two nights hotel stay (in Nashville or surrounding area), two tickets to the CMA awards show, and spending cash amounting to $300.00, to be used at the winner’s or their parent or legal guardian’s discretion.  If, for any reason, the trip cannot take place or the CMA Awards show does not take place, there is no substitution or cash value for this prize.

Entries and Voting 

1: How to Enter:  Contestants may submit their video for consideration by emailing the entry to the email address indicated on the contest page on the KMDL Website.  No other method of submission is allowed.  The title of the video must be “Courtesy CMA Getaway – entrant’s name”. The entrant name must be the person submitting the entry, and must include the first and last name of the entrant.

2.  Entry and Voting Periods:  The contest begins and entries will be accepted via the method mentioned above starting at midnight central time, August 17, 2015 to 11:59pm, Monday, September 7, 2015.  Entries sent outside of the this date and time window will not be considered.  After this entry period expires, voting will begin at 12am, Wednesday, September 10, 2015 until 11:59pm, Thursday, September 25, 2015.  The winner will be announced at some point after the voting has ended, and the winner has been certified.

3.  Entry Requirements – Only one entry per person is allowed.  Once that entry is submitted, no substitution videos can be entered.  The video cannot be more than 1 minute in length.  The entry email must include entrant’s name (see below if performer is a minor), mailing address, email address, two contact phone numbers, and certification of the consent of all participants and entrant’s exclusive ownership of all legal rights, title and interest (except Courtesy Automotive Group intellectual property)in all trademark, copyright, and any other intellectual property rights of entrant in the contest entry.   Townsquare Media and Courtesy Automotive Group are not responsible for the failure of an entry to be received and placed into voting by the entry deadline, as defined above.

3. Eligibility – The entrant must be a resident of the broadcast listening area of KMDL-FM, as defined by KMDL FM’s management as a 150 radius of the KMDL broadcast tower.  There is no minimum or maximum age limit for the performer on the video, but the person must be able to sing, speak and perform completely on their own, without assistance from another party.  If there is more than one person in the video, the person submitting the video for voting, will be considered the entrant, and, therefore, the person eligible to win the prize.  If the person performing on the video is under the age of 18, the official entrant must be a parent or legal guardian of the performer.

4.  No purchase is required to enter the contest.

4.  Content Requirements

  1. The entry must not contain material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including, but not limited to privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right infringement (including infringement of third party trademarks, logos, company names, music, photographs, and images, whether published or unpublished on websites, television, movies, or other media) other than those owned by Courtesy Automotive Group, which entrant has a limited license only to use to incorporate in his/her contest entry;
  2. The entry may not criticize Townsquare Media or Courtesy Automotive Group or any other person, company or party affiliated with this contest.   Determination of whether such criticism exists will be at the sole discretion of either Townsquare Media and Courtesy Automotive Group.
  3. The entry may not contain material embodying the names, likenesses, photographs or their identifying elements of any person, living or dead, without express written permission of that person;
  4. The entry may not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, vulgar, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous, which will be determined at the sole discretion of Townsquare Media and Courtesy Automotive Group;
  5. The entry must not contain references to or use of tobacco, alcohol, illegal drugs, firearms, or content that promotes violence or harm to any living creature, which will be determined at the sole discretion of Townsquare Media and Courtesy Automotive Group;
  6. The entry must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations of any state where the entry is created.
  7. By the act of submitting an entry, the entrant consents to give Townsquare Media and Courtesy Automotive Group a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, create derivative works from, and display any entry in who or in part, on a worldwide basis, and to incorporate it into other works, in any form, media or technology now know or later developed, including for promotional or marketing purposes.  If requested, entrant and all participants in the entry will sign any documentation that may be required for Townsquare Media or Courtesy Automotive Group or it designees to make use of the non-exclusive right entrant is granting to the entry.  Each entry shall not be used for any purpose by the entrant other than for purposes of this contest.

5.  Winner Determination:  Once the voting period has been completed, the winner will be selected by the entry receiving the greatest number of votes from the public from among all eligible entries.  The use of automated means to enter, evaluate, or vote for any entrant is expressly prohibited and represents grounds for disqualification of any entrant.  Only one vote per day per IP address may be a cast for a given entry.

6.  Hold Harmless: Contestants agree to hold Townsquare Media and its multiple brands, Courtesy Automotive Group and its multiple brands, as well as any advertising agencies and independent contractors harmless in the event of injury or death as a result of participating in the contest.

7.  Tax Liability – Contestant is responsible for any and all taxes incurred as a result of participating in this contest and/or winning the prize.

8.  Other - Unless specifically addressed all other Townsquare Media General Contest rules are applicable.
