Craig Wayne Boyd is starting 2017 fresh with a new record deal with Copperline Music Group. The deal will also have the singer collaborating with Reviver Entertainment Group for radio promotion and BDG/RED for distribution.

Reviver also represents LoCash and Michael Tyler.

“Will [Edwards] and I are both excited and fortunate to be working with Craig and his world-class fan base,” says Copperline Music Group head Rusty Harmon in a press release. “With the addition of Reviver, we are preparing to release Craig’s first LP since since winning The Voice.”

Boyd won Season 7 of The Voice, where he hit the charts with his versions of country classics like Johnny Cash's “I Walk the Line,” George Strait's “You Look So Good in Love” and Merle Haggard's “Workin’ Man Blues.” His career following his win on The Voice began with his single “My Baby’s Got a Smile on Her Face,” which topped the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. As a songwriter, he also spent three years as a staff writer for EMI Publishing.

“Craig Wayne Boyd is an artist that his fan base is very passionate about, and I believe the music he is working on will excite them very much – in addition to adding many more fans to the fold,” says David Ross, President/CEO of Reviver Entertainment Group.

Boyd admits he learned a great deal from Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani during his time on the singing reality show. He began on Shelton’s team during Season 7, but when Shelton had to let him go, he was saved by Team Gwen. Eventually Boyd rejoined Team Blake and won the competition.
