Fellows if you're really wanting to impress the lady in your life, one of the easiest ways to do that is to cook for her. If you really want to impress her and improve your chances for romance, wash the dishes when you're done. Okay, enough life lessons about romance, let's get to our Foodie Friday recipe of the week.

This week I asked Jill McCoy, our resident chef DJ, to give me something that was easy but not ordinary. I think she came through with flying colors on this upscale version of pan roasted chicken.

Unlike a lot of chicken that we cook in South Louisiana the sauce on this particular dish is light and refreshing. You get so much more of the delicious chicken flavor instead of having it masked by the gravy or sauce.

Some people tend to shy away from cooking chicken because they are worried about safety issues and the cleanup that is required after handling raw chicken. But with this meal you will find even the clumsiest cook can create a restaurant quality meal with very little effort, skill, hard to find ingredients, and time.
