The Walt Disney Company is considering changing up their pricing model based on demand at its U.S. parks.

With the new pricing model there would be incentive for visitors to go to the park off-season. Much like airline tickets, Disney park tickets would cost more during weekends and around holidays and would be less during the weekdays and low tourist season.

Attendance has been up at Disney parks over the last three years, thanks in part to the popularity of franchises such as Frozen and Star Wars. While this is indeed a good problem to have, it also means long wait times rides as well as gate closings.

The proposed change in pricing comes amidst a number of other changes at domestic Disney parks. For one, Disney has been utilizing technology to control crowds. For example, its “My Magic Plus” wristbands allow patrons to reserve times for rides and meals before their arrival.

And Disney is also continuing to expand its parks. In August, Disney announced it would add Star Wars-themed lands to parks in both Orlando and Anaheim.
