We all know that water does a body good. Did you know that drinking a glass of water on an empty stomach when you wake up in the morning can do your body good good though?

The first thing I thought of was, well I drink coffee so I have this covered. Apparently that doesn't quite cut it. Drinking only between 5 to 6oz of filtered, bottled water on an empty stomach can help you with quite a few health issues. It reportedly can help greatly with diabetes, high blood pressure and is even said to aid in fighting cancer.

The process is called Japanese Water Therapy. This practice should be done immediately once you wake up. Below are the instructions as listed on the Trending Updates YouTube channel.

1. Drink 160ml of water before brushing teeth as the drinking water shouldn't be contaminated with fluoride.
2. Clean your mouth and brush your teeth, but avoid any oral intakes for the next 45 minutes.
3. Eat breakfast slowly.
4. Once done eating breakfast meal, prohibit yourself from eating anything for the next 2 hours.

Below we will describe the list of days it takes to practice this routine for curing certain kinds of diseases:
1. Gastric – 10 days
2. High blood pressure – 30 days
3. Constipation – 10 days
4. TB – 90 days
5. Diabetes – 30 days

Seems simple enough, right? It's just water, so what can it hurt?
