Dustin Lynch: A Look at His Journey So Far

In 2012, country music opened its doors to a new name and a new talent named Dustin Lynch. He dropped his first single 'Cowboys and Angels' in January of 2012 from his self titled album.

Dustin's career took off from then giving him another Top 20 hit with his second single from the same album early in 2013. This one was 'She Cranks My Tractor.'

Not long after this one hit the charts, Dustin dropped yet another single titled...'Wild in Your Smile.'

All three of his first singles were a part of his first self titled album and spent a healthy amount of time on the country music charts. Then in 2014, he released his first single from his second album 'Where It's At' which was also the title of the single. The best part about it, especially for Dustin, was that 'Where It's At' became his first #1 hit!

It's no doubt that Dustin Lynch has had quite the career in country music so far. Especially with his latest gig at the Headliner for the 5th Annual Taste of Country Christmas tour. Of course I find it extremely relevant that he put out his latest single 'Hell of a Night' just in time for his trip here to Lafayette at The District.

It will no doubt be one 'Hell of a Night' tomorrow night when Dustin joins us for the 5th Annual Taste of Country Christmas tour presented by Southern RV Supercenter. Opening up for his is new country artist Logan Mize. Doors open at 7pm. Tickets are $15 in advance at Schlotzsky's on Pinhook and Johnston Street, Pogie's Pour House in Carencro off of Veterans Drive, and Ranch Outlet off of I-10 at Gloria Switch. They are also available here. Tickets will be $20 night of show.

In his interview today with Michael (dot) Scott, Dustin says, 'I'm ready to party, so bring it.' He is ready for a party so let's show him how we party here in Lafayette! We will see you tomorrow night for 5th Annual Taste of Country Christmas tour.
