One of our food stops with Eat Lafayette was Picante Mexican Restaurant and Cantina. The food has more of a southwestern flare and it is delicious. Only the freshest ingredients are used each day to make the tastiest dishes.

The staff at Picante's were delightful and friendly. They really treated us to a five course meal. Be sure to order one of the three delicious margarita options:  Italian margarita, Don-tini, or the Patron margarita. The crawfish soup was exquisite and the table side guacamole is awesome because a waiter/waitress makes it at the table (hint: table side).

Here's a little tip:  try not to over indulge with appetizers, chips & salsa, and entrees because the dessert at Picante's is mouth watering. The flan and fried cheesecake (yes, fried) will put a smile on anyone's face.

Picante Mexican Restaurant & Cantina is the perfect place for a girls night out, family dinner, birthday party, etc. Don't forget about the karaoke!
