Emotional Homecoming As Military Dad Surprises Sons [Video]

A military Dad home from Afghanistan early surprised his two sons in an emotional home coming. I never get tired of finding and watching these kinds of clips. I hope someday we will run out of them because all of our deployed men and women will be home with their families and out of harms way.

Hunter Dodd is squad leader for his schools ROTC program. His squad was receiving an award during a school assembly when much to his surprise his father, Staff Sergeant Christopher Paige walked into the gym. The genuine outpouring of emotion is there for every one to see.

As the narrator in this piece says, "Sometimes you just don't care who is watching". This is how we should greet those we love everyday. It doesn't matter whether they are away for months or away for minutes. The gift of loving each other is the highest compliment we can give and it is truly right to share it unconditionally.
