Additional Information

How many home runs can you hit? The Home Run Derby Competition is open to all! We even have one for the kids. Participants get 10 swings; the goal is to hit more home runs than Chief Gallow. The winner of each competition will receive a t-shirt and a trophy. Opelousas Police Chief Perry Gallow started this event a few years back as a fun way to have a softball tournament, home run competition and opportunity to bring in lots of cash for operations for the Club in Opelousas. Chief Gallow was a member of the UL baseball team from 1982-85 and supports the Club in Opelousas in many ways.
