It's the Battle at the Butte (exit 121 off I-10) -- the hottest quarter mile of drag boat racing in the country!
August 18 and 19, gates open at 9am, racing starts at 10:30am both days. Admission is $10, kids 12 and under are free. For an extra $10 you can bring your own ice chest.
All proceeds benefit the Butte La Rose Volunteer Fire Dept. It's brought to you by Evangline Downs Racetrack and Casino and the Deep South Racing Association.
