The 7th annual Gumbo Cook-off for Heartstrings & Angel Wings is set for Saturday, March 14th at Henry Guidry Memorial Park in Henderson.
Registration will begin at 9am. There will be seafood gumbo and chicken and sausage gumbo cooked.
There will also be live music from Nik-L-Beer, Dustin Sonnier, and Sweet Cecilia.
Kids activities for the day include a magician, games, face painting and a petting zoo.
Ice chests will not be permitted. Admission to the cook-off is $10 and children 12 & under get in free.
