The holiday season is right around the corner, and that means great news for country music fans. The Taste of Country Christmas Tour kicks off this November and continues its trip through Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana into December.
The 6th annual tour will feature several headlining artists including A Thousand Horses.
A hybrid of Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Allman Brothers, Black Crowes and Exile on Main Street-era Rolling Stones, wrapped up in a modern-country context, A Thousand Horses just released their first album, Southernality. This is the result of years of a road-doggin’ pursuit, determination and an against-the-odds struggle that found its rewards by bringing great music to the people.
Their high-energy album is branded in the marshes and Bermuda grass of the region where they grew up. It reflects the rebellion, attitude and heart that both the youth and working men and women of America live every day. For that reason, their Taste of Country Christmas Tour show will be sure to impress the people of Texas and Louisiana as they stop in Lufkin, Lake Charles, and Lafayette as part of the December tour.
