Youngsville Fire Fighters will participate in a fundraiser called "Fill the Boot" this Friday, August 10 from 4:30-6:00 p.m. The fundraiser will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The Fire Fighters will be at the intersection of Hwy 92 and Verot School Road with their boot so drivers and motorists can dump their change and dollars to help support MDA.
MDA helps children and adults who are affected by any of 40 neuromuscular disease covered by MDA's medical services and research programs. MDA receives no government funding; therefore, our participation in this fundraiser will certainly help.
