Former State Rep. Clara Baudoin Donates Campaign Funds to St. Jude

Another great story for the holidays. Former State Representative Clara Baudoin has donated her campaign war chest to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Baudoin recently wrote a check for $19,310.53 for the hospital. The money was part of her campaign fund and was kept in case she decided to run for re-election. Since Baudoin opted not to run again, she decided to donate the remaining funds to St. Jude.
Baudoin said she selected St. Jude because the hospital has helped numerous children from Louisiana, including some from her district, and because of the increasing children’s cancer survival rates.
