Frozen Bird Stops Travelers
An airport screeners observation briefly shut down the Lafayette airport yesterday. It turns out the culprit was something you might have in your own home.
Police were called to the airport around 10:48a.m. Tuesday after a TSA employee saw the package run through the screening process. The employee then notified other security personnel, and the terminal was evacuated while the package was examined.
