Yesterday, the New Orleans Pelicans unveiled the new team mascot “Pierre The Pelican”. I have to agree with the internet, the thing looks pretty creepy. Maybe it’s the lighting in the picture, maybe it's the "Nightmare On Elm Street" lookin' background, I don’t know… definitely looks like a hot bowl of nightmare fuel to me. The internet has started to have their fun with Pierre, and below are some of the funniest ones I’ve seen. For the record, I’m very much in favor of the team name, the mascot however… sleep tight.
