Henderson Mardi Gras Parade

The best part about Mardi Gras in Acadiana is that every community, big or small, has their own unique and wonderful parade to celebrate Mardi Gras! We try to participate in as many as possible, and one of my all time favorites is the annual Henderson parade, which this year will be held on Sunday, February 15 at 12:30. Henderson is a wonderful little town, with friendly folks who are really big on celebrating Mardi Gras! The parade is sponsored by the Henderson Mardi Gras Association, and registration forms can be picked up at City Hall, 1007 Amy St., or call Gail at 337-280-2579 or Town Hall at 337-228-7109, for more information. The parade winds through the entire town of Henderson, and ends up at Henry Guidry Memorial Park for a big party afterwards, with  DJ Stephanie Crist and JeffreyJamm, and concessions.
