Hunter Hayes – Louisiana Music Hall of Fame!
Friday night in New Orleans, Acadiana's own Atlantic Records Nashville recording artist Hunter Hayes was invited to become the newest member of the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame. Hunter was interrupted onstage at a benefit for Ocshner Pediatrics by Joel Sonnier and Mike Shepard, the President of the La. Music Hall of Fame to become not only the newest inductee, but the youngest member EVER.
It was a great weekend for Hunter, as he also turned 21 on Sunday, and got to sing the National Anthem at the New Orleans Saints season opener. Congrats to Hunter from everyone in Acadiana, and all of us at 97.3 the Dawg!
