Jazz Alley – It’s Supafly Funky Saturday At The District

Acadiana's premier jazz music series, Jazz Alley, returns to The District for a Saturday Night show November 8th. Jazz Alley features a live performance by one of the Gulf Coast's rising names in jazz, Jeremy Benoit. It's J.B. Saax and the Band live for a Supafly Funky Saturday.

Past performances at Jazz Alley have featured music with a Latin flair, music with a softer side and this Saturday it's going to get more than a little funky as J.B. Saax and the Band bring the funk. That's the beauty of jazz, almost any genre of music can be filter through the mystical musical prism that is jazz and come out fresh, clean, and in this case funky.

If you've not experience Jazz Alley at The District here is what you can expect. An intimate setting with VIP Tables and Premium Tables available. There is also club seating through out the venue. There are free hors d'Oeuvres compliments of Janet Ann's Catering. This delicious treat is included in the cost of your ticket. There is full bar service including a great selection of wine, beer, and premium liquor.

This makes a great evening out for couples, groups of friends, the traveling sisterhood, or just anyone who loves listening to live music done well.  Tickets start at just $12 for club seating.

The District is located at 4607 Johnston Street in Lafayette. There is plenty of free parking in a well lit and secure parking lot. Doors are scheduled to open at 7pm with music to begin at 8pm. Jazz Alley is a smoke free joint.
