Within the last few months, Joe Diffie has been more relevant than he's been in the last 10 years after being the subject of the Jason Aldean hit "1994". Even the youngens are learning who's "Joe, Joe, Joe Diffie".

However, one of the things folks have been curious about is what Joe actually felt about the Aldean song and why we never saw him make one appearance in conjunction with the song. No Joe Diffie in the music video nor award shows, etc.

Personally, I don't think there was ever anything to that, just one of those things.

Now it seems that Joe Diffie does indeed want to ride this wave of new popularity. How so? Well, he's done a rebuttal song of sorts called "Girl Ridin' Shotgun".

We want to know what you think of the song. Check out the new music video by Joe featuring D-Thrash of the Jawga Boyz.
