If you watched the New Orleans Saints game yesterday you no doubt saw the terrible injury suffered by Khiry Robinson in the second quarter. The word out of Saints camp is that he broke his leg.

Robinson, a three-year veteran out of West Texas A&M, was tackled on a second-and-one play from the Giants' 4-yard line. Defensive end Kerry Wynn and defensive tackle Jonathan Hankins made the tackle on Robinson and his leg was bent awkwardly. He was carted off the field and is believed to be out for the season.

Robinson had four yards on four carries and caught two passes for 13 yards. He had also just caught an 8-yard pass. Robinson entered the game with 176 yards on 52 carries on the season with 15 catches for 102 yards.

It should be interesting to see what the Saints do to replace Robinson. Perhaps bring back veteran Tim Hightower whom the team had up until Week 2 of the season. There is also a petition online for the team to bring back long-time fan favorite Pierre Thomas.

The team will no doubt make a move at some point this week.
