Lafayette Man In Stable Condition After Drive-By Shooting
UPDATE: Lafayette Police have arrested the person they believe is responsible for a drive-by shooting over the weekend.
Twenty-seven-year-old Robert Felix was arrested and charged with two counts of attempted first degree murder, according to police spokesperson Cpl. Paul Mouton.
Felix allegedly fired several shots into a vehicle, striking one of the two victims inside, Mouton said.
The case remains under investigation.

Police say they don't know what the motive was, but that they were called out to the 900 block of East Simcoe Street last night after a shooting.
Lafayette officers said an unknown suspect fired multiple shots into the victim's vehicle, hitting the victim.
The gunshot victim was taken to an area hospital by a relative, where he remains in stable condition.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about the shooting or the identity of the suspect to contact Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
