After several years of extensive renovations, the main branch of the Lafayette Public Library reopened this morning, amid much fanfare! The library is located at 302 W. Congress, and there were 2 ceremonies to reopen this branch - one outside at 10:00 am, and one that followed, inside, at the new Children's Department. Today, tours and story times will be available, and regular services will return tomorrow. The temporary Jefferson Street Branch, is now closed at 538 Jefferson Street.

Regular hours for the Main Library, starting Tuesday, July 7, will be as follows:
Monday – Thursday:  8:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Friday:  8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday:  9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday:  12 – 6 p.m.
