Louisiana State HOG Rally this Weekend

You might have noticed more motorcycles than usual in Acadiana over the past couple of days. Well, the Louisiana State HOG (Harley Owner's Group) Rally is being held in Lafayette this weekend.

Planned events include the Parade of Flags from the Cajundome to Downtown Alive this afternoon and rides to different attractions around Acadiana today and tomorrow.

The rally will finish up with a concert by Bachman Turner Overdrive at the Cajundome Convention Center Saturday. Wayne Castille, director of the local Motorcycle Awareness Campaign, reminds motorists to be extra aware this weekend, as over 3,000 motorcycles are expected to invade the Hub City. Harley Owner's Group from as far away as Canada will be participating in the rally.
