I am not sure if Les Miles saw his shadow or not on Wednesday but regardless it looks like several more seasons of outstanding college football teams for the LSU Fighting Tigers. Wednesday was National Signing Day and according to most pundits LSU had another great recruiting class commit to the program.

ESPN, 24-7 Sports, and Scout.com all placed the Tiger's recruiting achievements in the top five in the country when compared to other college programs in the nation. Cody Worsham is editor of Tiger Rag and he told the Louisiana Radio Network,

It's an elite class. They did miss on a few guys today that they were expecting to get, but all-in-all it's a strong class from top to bottom... A lot of depth and four-star guys.

Worsham suggested that the Tigers will add some much needed depth to their defensive line based on the recruits that committed to the program.

Rashard Lawrence is one of the best tackles in the country. Now you shore up with Ed Alexander and Glen Logan... That's a really good foundation to build a defense on for Dave Aranda in his first year.

He also suggested the LSU secondary should be bolstered by some of the quality players that Coach Miles and his staff were able to bring to the program.

You look at a guy like Kristian Fulton, Savion Smith... Those are both five-star guys. I don't know if there's a better duo coming into college next year.

The annual LSU Spring Game is scheduled for April 16th at Tiger Stadium. The Tigers will open their 2016 schedule on the road at Lambeau Field in Green Bay Wisconsin when they travel to play the Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday September 3rd.
