The inspiration behind Taylor Swift's 2007 hit song 'Teardrops on my Guitar' was arrested for alleged child abuse yesterday in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Andrew Hardwick, the 'Drew' from the popular song co written by Swift and Liz Rose, was detained after police discovered a 3-year-old girl with severe bruising and lacerations on her head, in a home where Hardwick was staying with relatives. The child also had a concussion, and Hardwick has been charged with aggravated child abuse, and child abuse. His bail has been set at $100,000.

Hardwick was a sweetie of Taylor Swift's in high school in Hendersonville, TN., and she discussed him, and his influence on her song, in a 2008 interview in the Washington Post.
