Merle Haggard Recouperating

Country music legend Merle Haggard says he’s nearly over the case of double pneumonia that has kept him in a Georgia hospital for most of the past week. Actually, he left the hospital, got back on his tour bus heading home, and then decided....not such a good idea. He thanked all the fans, and especially the people of Macon, Georgia, for being so gracious and welcoming during his illness....a gentleman ALWAYS.
