Falling stars, they are great for making wishes and blowing giant chunks of holes in the Earth's surface. Falling stars are not stars they are meteors. When they impact the Earth they become meteorites. We've seen evidence of these huge chunks of space rock colliding with the Earth before. This time we have the evidence captured on camera.

From Russia comes amazing video of a meteor streaking across the sky and exploding on impact. From what we have learned over 100 people were injured by debris from this incredible impact. What are the chances of a meteor hitting where we live? I don't think it's worth going out and changing your insurance policy for, but you never know.
