Miranda Lambert is spending a lot of time with her girlfriends in the wake of her divorce from Blake Shelton. The "Little Red Wagon" hitmaker and her bestie Ashley Monroe enjoyed a “date night” out on the town and shared an Instagram photo with fans on Thursday (Aug. 13). The caption is a reference to Monroe's song "On to Something Good."

The night off work together follows a night spent together onstage, working. The ladies performed Lambert’s tune "Heart Like Mine," which Monroe co-wrote, together during a party in celebration of Monroe's new album, The Blade, on July 22. "It means a lot to me that she’s ever up on stage with me," Monroe remarked to ET of the impromptu performance. "She's a very brave person and I look up to her a lot for it."

Lambert has been handling media adversity with poise while preparing for her Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars tour and hanging out with more of her gal pals, like Shania Twain and her horse/unicorn, Sophie. Neither she nor Shelton have spoken at length about the split, but Lambert did allude to the situation in an aside during her performance at WE Fest last week, quipping, “I wish I’ve been drinking all day; I deserve it. I just got divorced.”

Her all-girls Roadside Bars ... tour, featuring Monroe in addition to RaeLynn, Clare Dunn and Courtney Cole, officially begins Sept. 3. Always a champion for females, Lambert also recently started a scholarship fund for women pursuing a career in music.
