My Solution for Housetraining My Puppy: Crate Training [VIDEO]

In September of 2013, I proudly adopted a little terrier-mix from the pound in my hometown of Crowley. The minute I laid eyes on her, I knew I had to take her home. Of course we more often than not forget that we get all of the 'fun' stuff that comes with a new puppy. I tried many different ways to potty train her because she was super hyper and I knew I needed to get it done fast. Especially now, since Ms. Lilly is now a little more than a year old. Nothing has worked. She doesn't potty in the house very often, but I'm getting to my breaking point.

That was until I came across what I am hoping to consider a miracle: crate training. I have been reading up on it and am going to start it ASAP. This video from the Humane Society of the United States really enlightened me and I thought I would share it with you. For those of you who are dog owners and are having this same issue, I think this may help you out as well. If you have already tried it, let me know what the result was for you.
