New Orleans Teacher Pleads Guilty To Giving Students Pot Brownies
A former teacher at Archbishop Hannan High School in New Orleans admitted yesterday to giving marijuana brownies to students.
WWL reports Camille Breaux Brennan gave two Hannan students marijuana-laced brownies, then asked students to lie about it. One of the students got sick from the brownies and told a family member she had eaten a marijuana brownie given to her by her teacher.
Brennan plead guilty to two charges of distribution of marijuana to a student, and two counts of obstruction of justice.
Reportedly Brennan got a hold of one of the student's written statements and destroyed it. That's where the obstruction of justice comes in.
