Pearl Landry Of Acadiana Enjoys Her 100th Birthday [Video]

What a great day for Mrs. Pearl Landry, who celebrated 100 years this week!  If I can be honest with you, that's a far stretch for me to go..How will I make it!  I was reading my Facebook wall, and I was shocked to see this video and story posted by one of my former classmates, I found out it was his great aunt as I continued to read.  

Mrs. Pearl was also one of the first women to serve in WWII.  Her duties included teaching Morse Code to Pilots and several others!  And my favorite part is her quote, "I Enjoy Doing Nothing!"  She also said something like, "Gotta Just Keep Pushing!"  The positive attitude and joy Mrs. Pearl brought to me and I haven't even met her!

When things get tough, let us remember the simplicity of life- under the mess.
