Baton Rouge Police told WAFB they have arrested 3 teens in connection with the burglary at the home of former LSU Head Baseball Coach and Athletic Director Skip Bertman.

Police say that the 18 year old and two 16-years-olds broke into Skip Bertman's house around 4:30 a.m. Saturday morning through an unlocked bathroom window in the home. Once the 3 were inside,  they took LSU championship rings valued around $8,000.

Police say the 18 year old, Moises Marquez, is related to an employee of the residence. Apparently he had been inside of the Bertman's house quite a few times. It is speculated that the last time Marquez was inside the home, he left a bathroom window unlocked to return at a later date.

During the robbery, Bertman woke up and there was a struggle, however no injuries were reported.
