Grammy award winning country music icon Ray Stevens can now add ‘author’ to his resume. Mr Stevens, known for some of the most fun songs of the 60′s and 70′s  – ‘Ahab the Arab;, ‘Gitarzan’, and the Grammy winning ‘Everything is Beautiful’, has a new book coming out -”Ray Stevens’ Nashville.”. If you really want to know what it was like on Music Row back when country music was called ‘country and western’ - check out the new book, because it is really a glimpse back in time to country music’s Golden Age.

Speaking of golden, I saw Mr Stevens at Fan Fair / CMA Music Fest, and he looked just great – everything indeed is beautiful for Ray Stevens these days.
