Can you just not figure out why your iPhone keeps running out of juice? I mean, you leave the house with a full charge, but by 2 o'clock you're limping along with 12% battery life. Well, hopefully this list will help you out.

The folks over at buzzfeed have comprised a great list of things you might not know are draining your battery way faster that it should. These are great tips, but they have more over at buzzfeed.com

1) You're Not Closing/Deleting Apps You Don't Need

Double tap the main button then swipe up to close them down. However, the effectiveness of this depends on what type of app it is, and how often it wakes up in the background.

2) You've Got The Parallax Effect Running

This feature makes it look like apps are floating above the background when you move the phone. Sure, it's cool and all, but it's KILLING your battery. Here's how to turn it off

Settings > General > Accessibility > Toggle Reduce Motion on.

3) You Have Your Screen Too Bright

Just set your screen's brightness down just a bit. You'll be surprised how much this will help. And while you’re at it, toggle off auto-brightness.

4) You Have Automatic Downloads Turned On

Yes, it's a handy feature that let's purchases you've made elsewhere appear magically appear on your phone, but if you need to save your battery life, turn that sucka off.

5) You Haven't Turned Off "Air-Drop"

This new iOS7 feature lets users share documents and other info with other devices. If you leave it on, it’ll keep looking for devices to link with.
