With the heavy rains of the last couple of days, it was only a matter of time before roadways would get closed due to high water.

From our news partners at KATC TV-3, the following roads are currently experiencing closures or high water:

St. Martin Parish Road Closures

The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office says that these roads will be closed until further notice due to flooding:

  • Cecilia H.S. Road
  • Grand Point Road from Grand Anse to 4 Corners

Lafayette Parish

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office says the following roads are closed or experiencing high water:

Closed:

  • 400 block of Bayou Tortue Road in Broussard
  • Bramber Drive at Breton Drive in Lafayette
  • Mills Street at Malapart Road
  • S Larriviere Road at Almonaster Road in Youngsville

High Water:

  • Ambassador Caffery between Ole Colony Road and Dulles Drive in Lafayette
  • Arceneaux Road in Carencro
  • Gendarme Road near Kilchrist Road
  • Gendarme Road between Joli Road and Cockpit Road
  • North University Avenue at Gloria Switch Road
  • Prejean Road between Wisteria Bend Circle and Gourmet Road
  • Prejean Road at Deer Valley Lane

The Scott Police Department has barricaded the following roads due to flooding:

  • Perez/Sunset area between Cameron & Old Spanish Trail
  • 700 block of Old Spanish Trail
  • Renaud at Roger

High water is being reported at the following locations in Scott:

  • Willow at Pecan Grove
  • Dulles at Herbert
  • St. Mary at Roy
  • 1000 block of Stephen
  • 700 block of Rue Bon Secours
  • 200 block of Machine Loop
  • Riner between Melina & Anna
  • Old Spanish Trail at Alfred

REMINDER: Do not go around barricades if they are blocking the roadway.

St. Mary Parish

  • Charenton Road (Chitimacha Trail) is blocked due to a fallen tree.
  • Hebert Street in Franklin is blocked due to a fallen tree.

Iberia Parish

  • Texaco Street (high water)
  • San Jose Street (high water)
  • Streets in Southport Subdivision (high water)
  • Center Street in front of School Days Apartments (high water)

St. Landry Parish

The St. Landry Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness says the following St. Landry Parish roads are experiencing standing water.

  • 2900 Block of Seven Arpents Rd
  • Montgomery Rd
  • Credeur Rd
  • Jennings Rd around Little Teche Rd
  • Blossom Rd
  • Hwy 104 near Prairie Rhonde
  • Texas Eastern Rd around Hwy 167
  • Snow’s Rd
