Steve Harvey Announces Wrong Winner at Miss Universe Pageant [Video]

Things got really awkward at the end of the Miss Universe 2015 pageant last night.

Host Steve Harvey announced Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez as the winner. One problem -- she was actually the first runner-up!

The real queen was Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach, who'd previously been announced as first runner-up.

Steve Harvey had already left the stage to allow the newly crowned Miss Universe to don her crown and sash and make her first walk as the winner. He had to quickly return to the front of the stage to make the announcement of his error.

"I have to apologize," said Harvey after walking back on stage. "The first runner-up is Miss Colombia.

"I will take responsibility for this," he continued. "It was my mistake...I can show it you right there."

Yes, it was a really awkward moment in television history. Should Steve Harvey be vilified for this gaffe? I don't think so.
