Swamp People Star Arrested

We love it when the stars of Swamp People bring the attention of the nation to our state. We just don't like it when it's this kind of attention. In what is described as a domestic disturbance, Swamp People star Trapper Joe La Font was arrested and booked into a California jail.

According to TMZ, LaFont and his girlfriend got into an altercation and police were called-in.Details in this case remain unclear, but according to TMZ LaFont is being held on $1,500 bond. While the hit show on the History Channel “Swamp People” often claims that LaFont is the step-dad to his right hand man, Tommy, it is a known fact that “Trapper Joe” and Tommy’s mom are no longer together.
