An Olympic sport that is based on sliding rocks and sweeping with brooms has entered the high tech age. Many of the competitors are not happy with the change.
I guess my American is showing isn't it? I am not a fan of soccer. I didn't like going to the games when my kids played and I sure don't like watching the never ending snooze fest that is soccer on TV.
Leave it to the Japanese to take something that is not that interesting to my short attention span and make it more enjoyable...
It is the sport that causes me the most grief. It is curling. It's kind of like playing shuffleboard on ice with really big rocks. I find it to be fascinating. Many people don't get the strategy and prowess needed to compete in curling. To me it's like having to make 90 foot birdie putts all day long and your golf ball weighs a lot...
