Old buddies Lee Brice and Jerrod Niemann were both in Las Vegas for the ACMs over the weekend, and since Brice's wedding is coming right up, they thought it would be a good time for a big bachelor party. But far from a rip-roaring wild time, they ended up enjoying a fairly tame evening -- at least by the standards of their younger days.
When given, the opportunity, Jerrod Niemann wastes no time doing good for others, which is why the singer-songwriter is taking portion of proceeds raised from his upcoming Chicago concert and giving it to the children at St. Jude.
With one more win, Jerrod Niemann will put his new song 'Only God Could Love You More' into the Showdown Hall of Fame. The ballad has topped singles by Thompson Square, Jason Aldean and Montgomery Gentry in recent days. Today and tonight on Taste of Country Nights radio, Niemann fans will have to out-duel fans of the 2012 CMA New Artist of the Year.
The kids at PS22 in Staten Island, N.Y. are becoming just as famous for their inspiring versions of popular songs as the tune's original artists. This week, the fifth grade choir gave special attention Jerrod Niemann's current country chart-climber, 'Shinin' on Me,' with a little help from the country hitmaker himself.
