July 27, 2011 Two of the most popular shows on cable TV are looking for new stars right here in Acadiana. Producers of the MTV show Jersey Shore are looking to cast a "Cajun" version of the show. That casting call will take place in Broussard and Lafayette. Also History Channel's Swamp People is looking for new gator hunters and swampers with a casting call set for Prejeans restaurant.
June 23, 2011 Do you remember the first time you saw the Susan Boyle video ? You remember the frumpy looking lady that just blew the judges, even Simon Cowell, away on Britians Got Talent? We have a similar situation from America's Got Talent. You certainly don't expect this sound to come out of that body. It is very remarkable.
June 21, 2011 Call me old fashioned but this brings into question just about everything I know about relationships. The ladies on ABC Television's The View broke this topic down on their show yesterday. I can actually understand the rationalization on the surface but aren't real relationships built on more than good looks and physical attraction? I have in my life known some very pretty people, many of whom I would not trust to watch my garbage can, much less give my heart too.

June 15, 2011 Call me old fashioned but I always thought the term "private life" meant the part of your life that you didn't talk about in public. For me, that has always included what goes on behind closed doors. Why is the sexual orientation of a person always thrust right into my face when it doesn't need to be? I am going to be the way I am, you can be the way you are, we have no problem. I don't broadcast my private details and I wish you'd keep yours to yourself.
