The University of Louisiana offers Potpourri classes for students of all ages and the opportunities to increase your knowledge are as plentiful as mosquitoes on a balmy Summer evening.

973 the Dawg has learned the sad news of the death of former men's basketball coach Beryl Shipley. Many of the championship banners that now hang in the Cajundome were put there because of the success of teams under the direction of Shipley. 973 The Dawg extends condolences to Coach Shipley'sfamily and friends and to his many fans through the years.

Ragin Cajun Basketball is on fire and we need to to keep the fire burning in the Cajundome as the good guys are heating things up with a seven game winning streak!
