Taylor Swift‘s unexpected decision to allow her music back on streaming services is certainly paying off. The superstar earned $400,000 in the days following the release of her entire catalogue of music to streaming sites like Spotify, Amazon, Pandora and Tidal on June 8, Billboard reports.

In addition to $285,000 Swift made during her first week back on streaming services and the $44,000 she earned the week before, Swift received $68,000 in publishing royalties. Thus far, her songs have been streamed nearly 50 million times. The “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer announced that she would be returning to Spotify and other services to celebrate 1989 album selling 10 million copies worldwide and achieving a 100 million song certification from RIAA.

Swift caused a stir when she initially withdrew her catalogue from Spotify in 2014, citing privacy risks and the inability to not appear on Spotify’s ad-sponsored platform as reasons for pulling her music from the site. “In recent years, you’ve probably read the articles about major recording artists who have decided to practically give their music away, for this promotion or that exclusive deal. My hope for the future, not just in the music industry, but in every young girl I meet…is that they all realize their worth and ask for it,” Swift wrote in a 2014 op-ed piece for the Wall Street Journal.

While Swift has not made any announcements regarding new music coming out, some reports claim that she is recording in Nashville.
