Hey average ladies, we're talking to you. According to a recent survey, you will spend $44,300 on your hair over the course of your life.

Hair costs on average $703 per year which includes: trips to salon, coloring, shampoo and conditioner, hairspray and other styling products, and then accessories like clips and curling irons.

This number was calculated by figuring that the average woman lives to 81. So, over 63 adult years, that adds up to $44,300.

However, "blondes" will end up paying the most, around $51,000. Brunettes and redheads spend right around the average.

The kicker -- 83% of the women surveyed say it was worth every penny.

And I say, go bald and buy me a BMW!
