Threatening Note Found on Baton Rouge Community College Campus

Law enforcement in Baton Rouge are investigating a "possible note containing threatening language" that was found yesterday on the campus of Baton Rouge Community College.

Campus officials say they haven't seen the actual note, but have only received a digital picture of the reported note.

The school is working closely with the Baton Rouge City Police Department, as well as other local law enforcement agencies, on the investigation of this note and its source.

While law enforcement has not yet identified this as a legitimate threat to the college at this time, the college has heightened security as a precautionary step.

All classes and campus activities are continuing to meet as scheduled.
