Today Is Pi Day – Enjoy a Slice of Pie to Celebrate
Today is March 14 (3/14), also known as Pi Day, and it is celebrated around the world. Pi Day is an annual celebration honoring the mathematical constant, 3.14. However, Pi Day also makes me think of my favorite pie recipes which you should try.
I guess I’ve been living under a rock because I am not familiar with the annual Pi Day, but I always enjoyed Pie Day at work and wish we would start that tradition back up. I love to find these delicious recipes on FoodNetwork.com. Here are some of my favorites:
If you don’t have time to make one of these pies from scratch, don’t forget there are some fabulous bakeries here in Acadiana! Pouparts Bakery, Southside Bakery, and Keller’s Bakery are just a few of the local favorites! Happy Pi/Pie Day, y’all!
